Measurement slightly off

I took the measurements as instructed and got the xxl. But it was loose. So I suggest going for a size smaller on this one. The other fit great though.

Great crash shorts

Fell on my bottom many times at Ramps and Rails and didn't even think about. They must be good.

Nice and light

They work well, they are comfortable and light.
Though the waist band kept folding over and could dig in slightly.

Crash Pants

Unfortunately, I hae not been able to try the Rippl Brand of Crash Pants yet, due to unrelated injury. I have used another brand of Crash Pants and they saved my ass. When I saw the Ripple Brand I noticed that it had more robust padding on the hips and butt than the brand I was using. I am sure they will work great next season, when my ankle heals.
